Day One

  • Afternoon arrival in Philadelphia

  • Visit Independence Hall and explore the birthplace of America’s independence, where both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were debated and adopted. Also see the Liberty Bell at the Independence Mall
  • Dinner at a local restaurant
  • Check-in to the hotel for overnight

Day Two

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning visit to Valley Forge National Historic Park. Explore the grounds, visiting key sites such as Washington’s Headquarters, the National Memorial Arch, and the Muhlenberg Brigade Huts.
  • Lunch, on own
  • Return to Philadelphia and visit the Museum of the American Revolution. See the fascinating exhibits showcasing the history and stories of America’s revolutionary period
  • Also visit the Betsy Ross House. Explore the historic home of the woman credited with making the first American flag. Learn about her life and the flag-making process.
  • Performance as part of the 250 Concerts Commemoration*
    Dinner at a local restaurant
    Return to the hotel for overnight

Day Three

  • Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out
  • Board motorcoach and transfer to Washington, DC (approx. 145 miles; 3 hours non-stop)
  • Lunch, on own
  • Upon arrival in Washington, DC, sightseeing may include a panoramic motorcoach tour of Historic Washington, DC
  • Guided tour of the United States Capitol*
  • Tour the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History
  • Check into the hotel
